#16: Emotional Expression

Most singers have this deep desire to express themselves authentically when they sing.

To FEEL something and help others feel something too.

To get lost in the story they’re telling and the emotions of the song.

But many of us are stuck in THINKING the emotion and trying to manufacture it.

And trying to have our cake and eat it too by trying to tap into emotion while keeping one hand on the wheel (controlling and over-thinking often about technique).

So how do we access something real and let that come through?

What did you experience when you tried this out for yourself?
