#4: Couples Therapy

This is the first turning point but it starts with an unfortunate airing of some dirty laundry.

In order to start repairing your relationship with your voice, you must be honest about your not-so-kind thoughts and comments about it.

The ways you’ve distrusted it and the reasons you’ve roll your eyes at it or blown up at it.

The ways in which you feel it’s let you down.

And because our perspective is marred by our insecurities and experiences, the way we frame things isn’t always accurate (and generally not very generous).

That’s why I’M going to chime in with an alternative perspective.

An opportunity to see things differently.

A fresh, more compassionate (possibly more accurate) take.

What frustrations do you have with your voice?

What not-so-nice things have you said about it?

What did you believe its limitations are?

How do you wish it were different?
