How to Relax Your Tongue and Release Tension for Singing
No singer I know willingly signs up for throat tension, a swallowed or muffled sound and projection drama.
And yet so many of us deal with those things because we haven't identified the culprit.
*insert "dun dun dun" sound for the dramatic reveal*
Your tongue.
Yep, that’s right. Your tounge.
We need him to articulate and shape our vowels in different ways but we certainly don't want him trying to add volume or power for us.
He also likes to muscle in and lend a hand when we go higher in our range - again, not his job.
So how can we find out if this is something we need to untangle as a habit and then fix to get our resonance back?
I've got just the answer (and it's super easy).
